Policy

Grassroots-developed policy serves as the foundation for our Governmental Affairs team’s efforts in the legislative arena, guiding their work and advocacy.

The WFB Policy Development Committee is comprised of one member from every County Farm Bureau.

Our members proactively work to advocate for public policy that supports the agricultural industry as a whole.

Members create policy resolutions through a unique grassroots process, which includes layers of review before members from across the state vote whether the resolution should become organization policy for the following year.

This unified voice offers direction to the legislative committee, staff and members to better advocate for agriculture at the local, state and federal levels. To receive a policy submission form, contact the Governmental Affairs team: gr@wsfb.com
