Washington State Farm Bureau (WSFB) is seeking a Director of Public Affairs & a Director of Government Relations.

The Director of Public Affairs will develop a team of professionals in a collaborative atmosphere by serving as the lead lobbyist, strategist and staff coordinator supporting Washington Farm Bureau members in achieving their grassroots policies and priorities.

With a focus on local, state and national policy strength in legislative affairs and governmental relations, legal assistance programs, communications and social/community advocacy, the Director will work in partnership with county, state and national Farm Bureau leaders and staff  to advance Farm Bureau policy and build relationships in government and industry that grow organizational effectiveness.


The Government Relations (GR) Director will join a team of motivated professionals who serve the state’s farmers and ranchers. The GR Director will represent the organization as a lobbyist on specific policy areas based on the qualifications of the applicant and provides staff support to Washington Farm Bureau (WFB) committees. The GR Director also assists the Director of Public Affairs in working with members to communicate with and achieve their legislative and regulatory goals through the uniquely effective Farm Bureau grassroots structure.
