June 14, 2021 Labor and Industries released a draft of a new emergency wildfire smoke rule, which will affect all outdoor work and is intended to take effect this summer. Click here to read the full emergency rule. 

L&I (DOSH) began rulemaking in October 2020. That gave them 8 months to stakeholder this rule. The use of emergency powers is an unacceptable abuse of power.
