Washington Farm Bureau Kicks Off Annual Meeting in Wenatchee, Welcoming Delegates and Members from Across the State
November 19, 2024 – Wenatchee, WA —Today, Washington Farm Bureau (WFB) proudly opened its Annual Meeting at the Wenatchee Convention Center, welcoming delegates, members, and agricultural leaders from across Washington State. During the opening session, 140 delegates were formally seated representing 23 Farm Bureau counties.
The convention offers three days of collaborative discussions, insightful workshops, and important policy sessions aimed at strengthening Washington’s agricultural future. The Annual Meeting will also feature policy discussions that will set the course for WFB’s advocacy efforts in 2025.
This year’s agenda features dynamic presentations, including a keynote from Jolene Brown, renowned for her humor and deep insights into rural life, with her talk, "Harvest the Humor: A Celebration of Life on the Farm." Workshops and panel discussions will also highlight advancements and programs that continue to drive Washington’s farming community forward.
